Save buckets lets you save the whole load of money

Have you ever heard of "Save Buckets"? It is a website from United Kingdom with the slogan "Save A Whole Load of Money".

For you who don't know where to buy everything, but you don't know where to get them or what is the best for you. You just type in the search box for the equipment/tools/gadget and then search it.

For example, I just typed in water filter and clicked search. Then it'll pop out more details about the water filter I wanted ; product name, price range, sort result by (relavance/best price/highest price). You can search it either in the shops you know or all shops. And there were 137 kinds of water filters I found, and I just needed to check the one I wanted. It's so easy, isn't it?

Sometimes when I think about how we, human being go shopping, it's very funny.
When we go to some shops and check the non famous clothes, I am sure that we'd say this, "Ahh why should I buy this or spend this much money, if I can get it cheaper in this or that shop."

But when we go to a shop with Hugo Boss, Armani or Lagerfeld, and we have to pay 400 Euro per blazer, we'd say that it's ok cos they are famous brand.

I don't say that famous brands are the same with no name brands, I am just thinking that we are all just funny :)

AKV (Aachener Karnevals Verein)

Saturday, 19th Jan 2008 was another day of AKV. Aachener Karnevals Verein is Aachener Carnival Association. They hold a party every year. And this year was last nite.
You can watch it on TV on channel ARD at 8:30 pm.

Adami had a project for Zentis (a famous jam company from Aachen). We had to make a huge huge plum for Zentis. We were at the backstage until the show finished. Then we got into the hall and had a party. It was so fun, and I met lots of people from WDR. They were so nice!

Asgar Adami

Adami started his costume business since 1981 (which means I was still an infant hehehe). He studied in Hannover where he met Eva Maria Adami, his later German wife.

Adami worked with Karl Lagerfeld, he has known Lagerfeld for more than 20 years. Lagerfeld is also a good friend of his professor. Besides, he also has worked for a lof of famous people like Valentino, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and so on.

To my surprised, last nite he told me he also knew Hanae Mori (a famous parisian fashion designer. More about Adami, click here.

Sup there? Yeah yeah, you can guess, if I am not updating my post which means I am doing something.

A couple weeks ago, my friend Francisca told me about an internship in Aachen. Honestly, I was like no way for another shit like that.

But, she explained to me about a lot of things that made me change my mind. So, I dropped by at Mr. Adami's office and asked.

Now, I am doing an internship at his office/studio/shop. Check this, then you'll know what it is.
I think it's awesome! Ausgezeichnet!!!!

New Year 2008

It's been 2 years that we celebrate New Year with Hartmut and Inggrid. In 2007, we were also with them, but that time we had more guests, Karin and Wolfgang. The same like the previous year ritual, we had fish; trout, herring, matjes (young herring), shrimps with lots of condiment! We started with scallops and ended with Onde-onde and fried-mungbean cake. Nicolas and I made them :D

Dear my lovers,

I just realized that I've been absent from my blog so long.
My internship had taken most of my time and spirit.
It was not so easy, especially when you have to work with somebody who had no idea what she was talking about or what she wanted.

Anyways, I decided to finish my internship and then said bye bye :D

I always enjoy hot pot. Either Chinese hot pot, Japanese hot pot (shabu-shabu) or foundue.
The most entertaining part from hot pot is that you cook your own food, then you eat it.
Las time, we prepared for 16 people, it was fun! We had spicy pot and mild pot.
