Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono

dust strom

Environmental protection authority issued an air quality warning for the entire island on Sunday, as a dust storm from Mongolia and Inner Mongolia on the Chinese mainland moved in, causing the amount of fine particulates in the air to rise to abnormal levels.
According to a report reaching here from Taipei on Sunday, the department's air monitoring stations reported that the PM10 level (inhalable particulates 10 microns in diameter or smaller) in the air had reached 200 micrograms per cubic meter as of 9:00 a.m.(0100 GMT) on Sunday.

The department said the dust was expected to clear the Taiwan area early Monday.
They suggested elderly people, children and those with respiratory problems to stay indoors to avoid inhaling fine dust particles in the air. (Especially you who have asthma like me, don't go out! That's why I stay home and write my blog :P)

According to the department, the dust storm was formed three days ago as strong winds picked up fine sand and dry topsoil from arid regions in Mongolia and Inner Mongolia.

I watched the news about Dubai last nite. To my huge surprise, Dubai is :

On Saturday, the weather was awesome! Sunshine in the morning. I did my laundry and was waiting for Jess to come over. We'd planned to bike. It was almost 4 when we got Guan Doo. We rented 2 Giant bikes.

The route was Guan Doo --->> Tamshui --->> Guan Doo. Took us an hour and half. That was fun! Bike again hehehe

Mars, Mell and I were going out last nite. Yippie! We ate the japanese curry. Then Mell told us that it was valentine's day of japanese version. Really?? Never knew it, lol.

Then we walked around. I saw a deep sea blue handbag. Very pretty! I've been longing a handbag for a long long time. I tried it on. The small one, and bigger one. I like the bigger one.

I ran to the police station for the 4th time yesterday. It was Alex Hsu, the person at the police station who was in charge to fix my visa shit. He stared at my passport, and said, "You didn't extand your visa?"

Me : I did, but they didn't want to give it to me, they asked me to go to minister of foreign affairs, and i did go there, but they didn't want to help either

visa shit - part une

I have heard that Taiwan is a country gives you lots of visa troubles. I didn't really pay attention until now. My bestos, Nico, and Jon and some other German exchange students told me. I didn't really understand cos i didn't have that kinda problem since my university took care of it.

Last summer, I failed my school subject. I was supposed to graduate in 2005. But then i failed the compulsary subject. Then I came back to Taipei with my school paper.

But when I needed to extand it, the police station ppl didn't want to extand it. They asked me to go to Minister of Foreign Affairs office, which was nothing to do with them. So, I ran here and there a couple times, but useless. Then I ran back to the police station, to my surprise, they said, "we can't, you just will get fine, that's it. and the max is 5000 nt$."

Oh well shit !!!

After sisha and dancing to 6 am, I was pretty hung over. Woke up late the next day, did my laundry.
